One of the earliest standout albums on MPS -- a killer mid 60s session from pianist/vocalist Elsie Bianchi -- working here in a very tight trio mode! Elsie only sings on about half the tracks, but all those are very very nice -- done in a style that's got some of the cool touches of the European female mode of the time. But even better are the instrumental numbers, because Bianchi's a sprightly talent on the keys -- really leaping around nicely, and working with the bass of Siro Bianchi and drums of Charly Antolini in one of the first great takes on the Saba groove!
