This Albumn is the 2nd release from Swedish vocal jazz giants, The Real Group. The albumn consists mostly of arrangements of jazz standards from the Real Book. Songs to listen to are the Lush arrangement of "As Rain", whose cleverly placed dissonance works in an affective way, "It Don't Mean A Thing"(with bass singing high-hat along with walking bass, Bill Evans "Very Early", and a great arrangement of "I'm With You" based on the Anita O'Day Recording with big band! This is a truly landmark recording by this group that seems to know more about america's music than other groups currently performing it!!
