A lady with a really lovely voice -- singing here with cool west coast backings from Johnny Mandel, who helps push Gogi Grant away from some of the more dramatic pop modes of before! Gogi's still go that trademark trill in her vocals, but Johnny's charts keep things nicely subdued with a fair bit of jazz -- solo moments here, tight horn parts there -- all bringing a warm sort of shimmer to the record.
