Although JASMINE had already planned this third CD, Helen Forrest s recent untimely death has brought forward the release. Featured here are the remaining commercial titles recorded with Artie Shaw (the others are on JASCD 2550, Sweeter As The Years Go By ), plus several live radio recordings. The compilation is another superb job from veteran Geoff Milne, and Miss Forrest acquits herself so completely as to make this a very special tribute to the true Voice of the Big Bands .
