Best known for dubbing singing voices in films (for example, the singing voice of Joan Crawford in Torch Song), India Adams hooked up with Ray Martin and His Orchestra in 1959 to create Comfort Me with Apples. This is one of the few "It looks sexy" albums to actually be sexy. It also features top-notch material with expert singing (and swinging.)
