KEIKO MITSUI - Moyo (2007)

Contemporary jazz icon Keiko Matsui’s new album, Moyo,(Swahili for “heart and soul”), recorded with localmusicians in South Africa, Japan and the United States,introduces new sounds and rhythms to her elegant pianomelodies and gentle jazz grooves. For this project, Keikoinvited other artists into the creative process, includinglegendary trumpeter Hugh Masekela, sax player GeraldAlbright, soprano sax player Paul Taylor, bassist/vocalistRichard Bona, drummer Akira Jimbo and vocalist WaldemarBastos.
