Terry Grundy was born in London, Ontario in 1958. Still in diapers, he crawled off to Scarborough, Ontario (with his parents).
In his teens, he took up acoustic & electric guitar, forming & playing in little country & rock bands along the way.
By 2005, he & his wife moved to the rural village of Warkworth, Ontario.
“I’m still living on the edge, – the edge of town”, he laughs. “Early on, I was a boy from ‘the Big Smoke’, but I mostly kicked the habit, and followed my heart to the country”.
From campfires to busking, this songwriter-singer has blazed his own musical
trail, more than once dripping rubber from his sneakers over an open fire.
Romance, cry-in-yer-beer, character stories, or ‘loonie tunes’ are all fair game for this proud & quirky Canadian.
“Creeky Charms” is a folky-country collection, “Inspired by angels, and the odd alcoholic beverage...”
Not to mention one great Canadian influence – Murray McLauchlan.
Above all, Terry’s goal is to get his songs out into the community, where they can do some good. Get them into the hands of recording artists looking for something special to put on their album.
This, and collaborating with other songwriters, which he enjoys.
Produced in 2001, “Creeky Charms” is the culmination of all Terry Grundy’s influences, and realization of his dreams.
Thanks for listening!
